Shoft Industries Pvt. Ltd (SIPL) is a group company which provides support to Shoft Shipyard and other shipyards with a gamut of engineering products & services, ranging from the manufacture of ancillary machinery, equipment and fittings to services that include contract outfit installation and specialized shipping services. SIPL has recently been registered with DGQA (Directorate General of Quality Assurance) Ministry of Defence as an approved equipment manufacturer.
Operation of a self-propelled Deck Cargo Barge of 2500 T displacement. Primarily to transport hull blocks and units manufactured in SSPL’s yard at Bharuch to other shipyards and provide marine transportation services around the coast of India.

In house manufacture of a variety of shipboard equipment and fittings like, steering systems, deck machinery, all types of bollards and fairleads, cargo hatch covers, WT doors & hatches, gangways, specialized valves, and other outfit items.
Turnkey Outfit work onboard Vessels at Client Yards
SIPL Carries out outfitting works in the shipyards of select clients. This includes outfitting of destroyers Frigates and Submarines. installation of machinery and equipment, piping systems, caballing, ventilation trucking etc. Typically, the job involves, complete fitting out of equipment and systems as per client’s drawings, prove mechanical and other integrity and offer final inspection by the class authorities or Warship Overseeing Teams as applicable. The contract covers offering harbor and sea trials of the systems and provides guarantee support as required.
SIPL undertakes on-site engineering projects involving the installation of systems and OEM supplied machinery. A challenging on-site project has been the installation and fabrication of machinery, piping systems, electrical systems, and high precision structural fabrication in the nuclear submarine project, as sub-contractor to L&T in Vizag Naval Shipbuilding Centre in Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam. Another is for the Scorpene submarine project at Mazagon Docks Ltd.
SIPL specialises in fabrication for submarine projects, manufacturing bulkheads, tanks for inner hull, stabilisers (hydroplane and rudders), outer hull ballast tanks, cradles for the housing of major machinery, stanchions, etc. These demand an extremely high level of dimensional accuracy with tolerances far lower than normal.
