These include Offshore Supply Vessels (OSVs), Survival at Sea Training Facility (SSTF) and special 275 men DP2 accommodation barge. These stand testimony to the impeccable credentials of the shipyard in the field of design, construction and after sales support of the special vessels.
275 men DP2 accommodation barge with 8 Pt. mooring system – Vikrant Dolphin
The DP2 vessel with an 8-point mooring Accommodation Barge was the first of its kind and size to be built in India. The basic design was from Navnautik Singapore and was built under ABS Class with SPS compliance.
Offshore Supply Vessel - Beas Dolphin
The SPS code compliant vessel with accommodation for 49 personnel was built to ABS class and delivered to the State owned Alcock Ashdown Shipyard Pvt. Ltd. In 2009.
Survival at Sea Training Facility (SSTF) - Samudra Shiksha
To meet the stringent requirements for training of ONGC personnel, in safety and lifesaving, a live training floating platform was developed as a Survival Sea Training Facility on a turnkey basis from Goa Shipyard Ltd. (GSL). The conceptualisation, design and construction of the facility was done in-house. Besides maintaining and managing the facility, Shoft Shipyard Pvt. Ltd. also undertook the training programmes for the first five years.
