The assets and resources available to the shipyard for shipbuilding comprising of infrastructure, skill sets, people power and competence, enable Shoft to undertake Repairs & Refits professionally. Accordingly, we at Shoft can undertake in repairs and conversions in docked and afloat conditions efficiently with quality and timely delivery.
The repair and refit work undertaken by Shoft include plate renewal, blasting/painting, all types of engineering including machinery overhaul, tail shaft withdrawal for inspection and repair / refit, etc and repair work related to various systems - piping, electrical, HVAC, etc. The arrangements are also made for classification society surveyors to attend to repair related surveys.
From 2007 to 2009 complete renewal of Bridge Fin, Outer casing, Rudders & Sonar Dome during the medium refit of INS Shankul & Shalki at MDL.
